Excursions
Here you will find a selection of Lake District geological excursions to complement those in the book. It is recommended that you download the excursion documents (they are in .pdf format) and print them out. We have provided maps both as part the excursion documents, and as standalone files so that you can print them out separately at whatever size is convenient.
Please note the excursion maps are schematic only, you will need to refer to the relevant OS 1:25:000 Explorer map to accurately pinpoint the locations described.
